- Transfer of a domain name from one Registrar to another is prohibited within the first sixty (60) days of the domain name being registered.
- Transfer is also prohibited within sixty (60) days of the last registrar transfer request.
- A domain name may not be transferred from one Registrar to another if the expiration date is within five (5) days.
- The transfer process includes a renewal fee for at least one year and up to ten years, based on the registrant’s choice.
- The renewal fee will be according to the registrar’s price.
- The Registrar is not permitted to impose any extra fees for the transfer except the renewal fees.
- All transfer requests are subject to review by SaudiNIC. SaudiNIC retains the right to review any request prior to or after the transfer process.
- SaudiNIC also retains the right to require any additional documentation at its own discretion.
